Boys Winter League 2008 Rules

-Follow boys NHSF rules with the following exceptions:

-GAMES START ON THE HOUR!! SHOW UP EARLY!!!

-ONLY WATER is allowed.  No Food, Gum or other Drinks, including sport drinks

-Playing time will be two 22 minute running halves

-Penalties are all time and a half and start when the player enters the penalty box

-3 personal fouls in one game equates to an ejection for that game

-Each team gets one 1 minute timeout per half that can be called from anywhere on the field

-No overtime. In the event of a tie, the first team to score in the game wins

-The clock only stops for team and referee time outs

-No 20 second count, when moving the ball from defensive end of the field

-Helmets must be on when shooting on the goal, even during game breaks

-No spectators or players may be behind the goal during games for their own safety

-Fans are only permitted on the west side of the field, across from the tables and teams

-For games to count there may not be players that are not on the official team roster playing in the game, see goalies exception below

-Goalies are the only position that is allowed to play on a different team then they are assigned to and may only play if the team's goalie is not present
