The ULA will withhold 10% of the registration for refunds requested before the first game day of the season. The 10% is for Active's processing fees. Absolutely no refunds will be given after the first game day of the season. No refunds given on US Lacrosse membership fees. The ULA will cut you a check for the refunded amount, so we will need an email from you with refund in the subject box. In the body we'll need your full name, your child's full name, and mailing address. 2008 Spring Leagues Participation Regulations:
For spring 2008 participation in ULA youth league requires teams to be associated with geographic boundaries which mirror areas of high school attendance. All players must play for the team in which geographic boundary they live. The only exceptions are players who will be attending private schools can play for their private school associated team or the team in which high school geographic boundaries they live. Coaches may not recruit players from other boundaries in an effort to improve their team’s player quality, sanctions will be imposed on coaches and teams found to be in violation of this rule. If players register for a team that does not have enough players to form a complete team then the ULA will, prior to the start of the season, assign those players to available teams based upon equitable distribution of talent and geographic proximity of those players to available teams. It is the goal of the ULA to provide the opportunity for all interested players to participate in the great sport of lacrosse and insure a quality experience for both new and experienced players. The ULA youth leagues are based upon ethical principles of fair play and sportsmanship and all coaches and team organizations should be focused on teaching sportsmanship, fair play, and the spirit of the game. Not winning at all cost. Definition: Recruiting is defined as the attempt to pursue experienced players to play for a team in an effort to improve overall quality of a team. Encouraging an inexperienced player to try the sport of lacrosse is not considered recruiting. |
