This is a work in progress, if you have any suggestions or questions please email info@utahlax.org

When are games played?
-Games are played primarily on Saturdays starting April 25th to June 6th 2009.

Where are games played?
-The leagues are growing, we try to play the games in a few locations around Salt Lake and Sandy but are also looking at locations outside where new teams are forming.

What is the required equipment for Lacrosse?
-
Helmet (with face mask & chin strap), Shoulder pads, Arm guards, Gloves, Lacrosse Stick, Mouth piece (visible with strap), Cup and athletic supporter.  The ULA provides a jersey that can be worn at practice and games.  Items in italics can be rented by new players from the ULA (for a $50 rental fee).  The equipment rental dates are April 4 and 18 beginning at 10 am - 1 pm at the ULA office (No other times are available to rent gear until after April 18).

Why do players, coaches and referees have to be members of US Lacrosse?
-We require all participants to be members of US Lacrosse which covers everyone with the same secondary insurance provided by Bollinger.  This is required to gain access to school and public park fields.  Members of US Lacrosse also receive a lacrosse magazine as part of their membership.

Why do players need to sign up in their HS boundary?
-We try to make travel to practice easy on everyone, along with keeping things fair in the league.  There is no recruiting allowed in our leagues and we found that basing teams on the HS boundary sufficiently curbed recruiting along with keeping practices nearby.  If you sign up for the incorrect boundary we will move you to the correct one.  Some boundaries may combine based on the league and team dynamics.  We will try to combine boundaries with an insufficient number of players to a team closeby.  If you played with a boundary outside of yours in the past there is no guarantee you will be playing there the next season.  We want to help the expansion of lacrosse into new areas, so if there is enough for a team in a new boundary we will do what we can to get that team up and running.  Soliciting help from the high school team can also help establish new youth teams (high school contacts can be found on www.uhsll.org).
